This was purchased as a bridesmaid dress for a friend who got pregnant and decided against a large wedding. We had decided on this dress because it hides flaws (baby belly) with the rouching and still reveals an hourglass figure. It also would not require hemning because e were simply going to pull it up with a brooch where the flare starts. All 5 bridesmaids were different body types and this looked good on all of us. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. Most of us intended to cut the dress at the flare after the wedding so it wouldn’t have to be an expense for a bridesmaids dress never to be worn again. The dress is actually available in the short version.
